Jason & Tina 6.5.10
It is always refreshing when we have the opportunity to photograph a wedding with a twist. Jason and Tina's wedding was centered around a blue and yellow Michigan theme. It was a 360 degree change from the Ohio State themed wedding we photographed last weekend. The flowers from Lori Reilley Originals were also blue and yellow to match the theme, as well as their invitations from Paper Perssuasions.
Luckily, just before it poured, we were able to photograph their portraits before the ceremony at the Unity Chapel of Light in Tallmadge. The rain stopped again right after the ceremony to allow us to take more pictures outside.
Jason and Tina were then able to relax the rest of the evening as husband and wife at the reception that was held at St. Nicholas Hall in Mogadore. Here are a few pictures from their big day!

Rachel & Ola
We had so much fun photographing Rachel and Ola's engagement session in downtown Akron. Their wedding is scheduled for January 1, 2011 in Covington,KY. It will be such a beautiful winter wedding! Look forward to their save the date cards coming your way!

Adam & Kristen 5.29.10
We had the opportunity to spend a wonderful day with Kristen and Adam! They were so much fun! Since they are from Arizona, most all of our correspondence with them was via phone and email, so on the Thursday before the wedding, we met to do a little engagement session. It was great getting to know them before the big day, and poor Adam was so tired, as he had just flown in the night before on the red eye.
Our day started by meeting Kristen and the girls at the new MC Hair Studio on Portage Trail. What a wonderful place ... very bright and relaxing. Everyone was so accommodating! It was exciting to be one of the first weddings in this new place. Once the girls were all dressed, everyone loaded into the largest SUV limo I have ever seen and headed to Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (just down the street). Baumanns Florist added some beautiful flowers to the church and gave the girls their bouquets. Kristen and Adam chose an Ohio State theme, and everything was in scarlet, white and gray! Even the guys tuxes were gray ... so awesome! The ceremony was beautiful and following it we did a small portrait session at the church. From the church, we went to Rocco's Pizza - a favorite of the bride. Rocco's was so nice to give the bridal party some great pizza and place to rest for a bit.
Following Rocco's, we all headed to Silver Lake Country Club. We did some beautiful portraits around the clubhouse, as well as in the clubhouse. The bridal party and the new Mr. and Mrs. were introduced into the reception by Beach Boyz Dj Service. The ballroom was so beautiful and very simply done. It was perfect.

Just wanted to thank you, as well as Aaron and Krista, for the AMAZING engagement pictures. Since getting them I have been getting nonstop messages and compliments on them. Last night I walked by one of our desks at work and found a somewhat large gathering of doctors, nurses, and secretaries surrounding a computer. Here I find out they were looking at my pictures, wanting to know where they were taken and who the amazing photographer is :) I am SO excited for the bridal session, but most especially the wedding day. Thank you again for everything! We'll be talking soon to set up a time for the family pictures.
